Xolo DogBlog

…as our precious alarm dog after weaning her litter of puppies.  She presented me with six puppies, five hairless and one coated.  She was bred to hairless miniature male Besitos Peyote.  Jet was bred by Christine Feldman-Bartnick.  Jet’s registered name is Besitos Tecalli.  Tecalli is the Aztec word for ‘onyx.  Her dam is Oconee Bella (Hoover) Mex.FCI., owned by Christine Feldman-Bartnick.  Our little ‘Jet’ is an amazing dog and has wrapped herself firmly around our hearts.

…memories.  The house seems so empty without “Kanky”.  I keep expecting him to round the corner with a squeaky toy in his mouth.    But, Look at his babies!!!  I named them after famous Mexican gentlemen.

Interesting facts about therapy dogs…

…to all of the participants who showed Xolos at the 2010 Xorld Show in Denmark.  I am happy to see such a huge interest in the Xolo on the part of many young breeders and owners.  I was lucky to see a few videos of the Xolo ring that were sent to me by friends and I am so proud of the work that you have done.  The Xolos were so well conditioned and muscled and the handlers were very professional in their presentations.  Keep up the good work…..each and every one of you….

…Naqui and her stunning handler took Jr. World Champion at the World Dog Show in Denmark last weekend.  What a lovely win for those two beautiful Russian girls.  We are proud of you.  May you have many more good times in the ring together.  Besitos Naqui is owned by Victor Svetlova.  Naqui, you made your papa proud!!!  Naqui is from Besitos Tufi, owned by P. Hoover and M. Tuff, and Nahual (Arena) MEX.FCI, son of Tenango (Arena)MEX.FCI.  She is a grandaughter of Multi Ch, BIS, Wld Ch. Tecuhtli, the top producing standard xolo female in the history of the breed.

………….this past weekend.  Congratulations to ‘Chica’ and her owners, Babara Griffin and Don Webb of Salem, Oregon USA.  Chica is 3 years old and ready to burn a wide swath in agility———keep a look out for this beautiful young xolo if you go to meets in the northwest.  CHICA, you GO girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Chica’s dam was Besitos Chimolli and her sire was Hedehuset’s Ray D. Ation.
