Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009This is a design in wool by Teresa Vila of Colorado. She donated many incredibly beautiful creations to the auction that was held at the XCUSA specialty and this is one of several that I brought home with me. What a treasure it is. Teresa works in several different mediums including pottery, leather, glass and wool. Teresa owns two standard Xoloitzcuintle and has titled them in companion sports.

Saturday, October 31st, 2009…but who would ever think to go to Belgium for a special Xolo celebration of this beautiful holiday? In the town of Ostend, Belgium you will find a lovely little resto named SASSY’S where the owner has made an altar to honor her Xolo, Fidel. Special Dia de los Muertos bread, marzipan and decorations appropriate to the event are there for everyone to enjoy……THANK YOU, Saskia for sharing this with us, in memory of Fidel. Thursday, May 28th, 2009New photos of Mesquite !
Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

Mesquite lives in Beautiful British Columbia with his co-owner, Debbie Cornell-Charneski, a professional handler. Mesquite, born Aug 8, 2008, is sired by Mexican Champion Allende out of the Multi-Champion Techutli.
Quito, as he is fondly referred to, has the excellent blend of the elegant substance required of a standard Xolo. His almond shaped amber eyes are set into a correctly proportioned head which is set onto an elegantly arched neck. His ears are well set, shaped and compliment his head. With proper height to body length ratio, level topline, slightly sloping croup and correctly set and carried tail, he is a lovely example of the breed.
