CUPIDA…

August 18th, 2010

…has a wonderful family, one that was worth waiting for.  They came to visit and see if their one allergic family member was sensitive to Xolos.  He had no reaction to the hairless Xolo so we tried him with Cupida. She has a soft coat.  She is a coated Xolo but her hair is very fine and non-shedding and her pack member who has allergies can tolerate her without problems.  This is unusual because most coated Xolos shed the same as any other coated dog would.  She will be busy raising two boys and supervising her new pack.  Her new MOM will be taking her to obedience classes.  What more could a wonderful xolo hope for?

CAIMITO….

What amusing info I found…

July 30th, 2010

…is that I was googling the home that I grew up in, in Forks, Washington.  As the image came onto my screen I noticed that it is now known as the Cullen House–the residence of the Cullen Vampire Clan.  What a shock.  And to add to the information, my eldest son was named Cullen.  He died in 1999.  I cannot help but think that he reached out from the spirit world and had a hand in this crazy existence. What are the odds??

It looks very much as it was when I was a child there.

…as our precious alarm dog after weaning her litter of puppies.  She presented me with six puppies, five hairless and one coated.  She was bred to hairless miniature male Besitos Peyote.  Jet was bred by Christine Feldman-Bartnick.  Jet’s registered name is Besitos Tecalli.  Tecalli is the Aztec word for ‘onyx.  Her dam is Oconee Bella (Hoover) Mex.FCI., owned by Christine Feldman-Bartnick.  Our little ‘Jet’ is an amazing dog and has wrapped herself firmly around our hearts.
